Group Piano Lessons | Westlake OH
Rhapsody Music Studio is now offering two new exciting Group Piano Classes that can radically accelerate the learning progress and boost a learners engagement and buy in to learning piano! Currently these classes are being offered at Acton Academy Lakeside in Bay Village in their piano studio until our group piano studio at Rhapsody Music Studio is completed.
This is one of the most common questions parents ask, and honestly, it’s a fair one. Many parents picture a group piano class as every learner working on the same songs at the same pace. That is not how our Piano Express experience works. Classes are intentionally small, and each learner progresses at their own level using teacher guidance, technology, and individualized goals. Learners are encouraged to take ownership of their musical journey while benefiting from the motivation, encouragement, and accountability that comes from learning alongside peers.
One of the most powerful aspects of this approach is that learning does not stop when class ends. The software provides immediate feedback, progress tracking, accompaniment tracks, and guided practice tools that learners can continue using at home. Rather than relying entirely on a once-a-week lesson, learners receive ongoing support that helps them build independence, develop stronger practice habits, and gain confidence as musicians.

Learners can still benefit greatly from Piano Playground class, though regular access to a piano or keyboard will help maximize progress.
Need to Schedule a Make Up Class?
Click Here to Find a Class Day/Time with an Open Spot – then email Mr. Tim and he will manually enroll you in the make up class. You will receive a confirmation email and then you are done!
Piano Express is a Multi-Leveled Class for Learners Ages 6+

Timothy Fair, Piano Instructor
Mr. Tim has been teaching piano for over 16 years and currently teaches piano at Rhapsody Music Studio in Westlake, Ohio, which he and his wife Ashley have owned and operated since 2009. In addition to private and group piano instruction, Mr. Tim also teaches preschool music classes at Glenview Childcare Center, Bay Presbyterian Preschool, Bethesda Childcare Center, Acton Academy, and “Music Time” at Westlake Porter Library.
Mr. Tim also taught general music, junior high and high school choir, and directed musicals and show choirs during his time as a public school music teacher. Tim and Ashley reside in Westlake with their children and love sharing the joy of music with families throughout the community.
