Have you ever dreamed of writing your own music, recording your ideas, or learning how to use professional music software?
Rhapsody Music Studio now is partnering with a local artist to offer local access to a composition and digital recording studio in our area.
This creative space is equipped with a full-size MIDI keyboard, professional notation and recording software (including Sibelius and Studio One), and everything you need to start composing, arranging, or recording your own original pieces.
Our communities resident composer, Michael K Dougherty, has years of experience helping students and musicians bring their musical ideas to life—from classical compositions to contemporary tracks. Whether you’re brand new to music technology or already composing and want to refine your skills, Michael provides personal guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Students can learn to:
- Create and record original compositions using MIDI and digital audio tools
- Develop notation skills using Sibelius or other music-writing software
- Arrange, mix, and export their music for sharing or performance
- Gain confidence in music theory, structure, and creative expression
Michael has  Currently, I has 3 workstations including one, my main console and two standalone stations. Each station offers a full 88 key keyboard controller, dedicated laptop and music software.
